Create a Rule Using the Advanced Editor

1. Open the ruleset with which the rule will be associated.

   
   

2. Click Create Rule.
   
   The rules editor displays.

3. Click the Advanced Editor toggle.
   
   The advanced rules editor displays.

4. Fill in the rule's metadata on the right side of the page.
   

5. Enter the expression into the editor.
   

6. Click Validate Expression.
   
   The application verifies that the expression is valid. If it is, you'll see the message "Valid expression." If the expression has an invalid format or incorrect information, you'll see an error message to that effect.

7. Click Save.
